Legendary jam band Phish has announced the schedule for their upcoming fall tour, which follows up a very successful spring/summer tour recently completed.
The highlight of the tour is the final three dates – October 29, 30 and 31st (yes, Halloween!) at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ!
Now, Phish fans know that any Halloween show by Phish is like no other concert by any band, Phish included!
Traditionally, Phish’s Halloween concerts are what they call a “musical costume”, the band will perform another band’s album in it’s entirety.
It started in 1994 when Phish performed the Beatles’ White Album, followed the next year by The Who’s Quadrophenia and several other amazing classic albums after that including a special “non-Halloween” performance of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. After several years off the band returned to their Halloween tradition in 2009 and played the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street!
Halloween 2010 should be no different, Phish fans are already discussing what could be the album they play at Boardwalk Hall this Halloween.
What do you think? Let us know what album you’d like to see Phish cover at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on Halloween 2010.
