The 2013 NHL Winter Classic is officially to be held at Michigan Stadium (The Big House) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Scheduled for January 1, 2013, this will not only be the biggest Winter Classic event yet it will be the biggest NHL game in history.
The Big House hosted over 104,000 fans for the Michigan vs Michigan State “The Big Chill” game and now for the Winter Classic the projected crowd is 115,000 which would set a new single-game attendance record for the NHL.
