Top 5 Events on SelectATicket.com

Monday, January 30th, 2012

The Top 5 Events on SelectATicket.com last week were as follows:

  1. Super Bowl Tickets
  2. New York Yankees Tickets
  3. Bruce Springsteen Tickets
  4. MLB All Star Game Tickets
  5. Big East Tournament Tickets

One surprise at first glance is seeing New York Yankees tickets making the list but with news of Jorge Posada retiring this past week and spring training about to get started, it really isn’t hard to imagine how fans would have baseball on their mind and the season is really not that far off.

Bruce Springsteen’s first tour in two years with the E Street Band has also made the list as tickets for those shows are very popular.

And of course the number one event is Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and New England Patriots, coming up this Sunday but there’s still time to buy tickets.

Check back next week for the list of top 5 events for the current week.

Bruce Springsteen Tickets Cause Internet Stir

Friday, January 27th, 2012

In what could be considered a gross underestimation of just how passionate his fans are, Bruce Springsteen tickets went on sale earlier today and overwhelmed the servers at Ticketmaster.

Having 5 New Jersey and New York shows going on sale within an hour of each other, Ticketmaster was not up to the task nor prepared for the inundation of traffic as they were unable to grant the overwhelming number of requests from fans.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play April 3 & 4 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford (Meadowlands Arena), April 6 and 9 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and May 2 at Newark’s Prudential Center.

Springsteen routinely sells out most concerts and New Jersey and New York are especially among the first to sell out. As everyone knows, Springsteen is from New Jersey and his fanbase runs deep.

This tour marks the first shows since the passing of fan favorite, saxophonist Clarence Clemmons of the E Street Band. Fans are anxious to see “The Boss” and the remaining band members and today’s strong demonstration by the fans really shows just how badly everyone misses seeing Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band live in concert.

The server glitches were apparently resolved but that does not take away the frustration and disappointment experienced by the early bird fans who were ready and waiting in an attempt to get the jump on these high demand tickets.

For those who were not lucky enough to get through for tickets this morning there is still hope. There are alternate outlets for most events and die-hard fans can find Bruce Springsteen tickets on sale now for most dates in New York, New Jersey and around the country.

Bruce Springsteen to Perform Full Albums

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band begin their final Giant Stadium performances tomorrow through October 9! They have announced that at each of these 5 shows they will be performing one of their classic albums in its entirety. “Born to Run,” “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” and “Born in the USA,” are the albums that the band has chosen to play in full album sequences.

The band will be opening its 5 performances by playing the entire “Born to Run” album, which the band performed in full at Chicago’s United Center on September 20. Due to the fan enthusiasm during this show, they have made their decision to perform on album each night at Giants Stadium.

During the October 2 show, the band will be playing “Darkness on the Edge of Town.” The October 3 and October 9 performances will feature “Born in the USA,” and the October 8 show will again feature the album, “Born to Run.”

These performances are especially significant because this will be Bruce and the band’s final performance at Giants Stadium before it is torn down, not to mention they will be the last musical act to ever perform there.

Bruce Springsteen’s Final Performance at Giants Stadium

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Rock N Roll star, Bruce Springsteen, turned 60 on Wednesday, September 23. Although he is now 60 years old, he still manages to keep his music and himself spirited and fresh. He spent his birthday preparing for his 5 shows at Giants Stadium starting next Tuesday.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are touring in support of their new album, “Waiting On A Dream,” but they are sure to play their old favorites as well.

Originally the band was only supposed to play 2 shows at Giants Stadium, but since the tickets were selling out so quickly, they added 3 more dates. Not surprisingly, Bruce Springsteen is the record holder for the number 1 selling artist at the Meadowlands, selling out over 50 concerts there with his band.

This is your last chance to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Giants Stadium before the stadium is demolished. Since a new stadium is being built at the Meadowlands, this series of concerts will be the final ones in the stadium’s 33-year existence.

Don’t miss your chance to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s final performance at the Meadowlands. Get Bruce Springsteen Tickets now!
