Bruce Springsteen Tickets Cause Internet Stir
In what could be considered a gross underestimation of just how passionate his fans are, Bruce Springsteen tickets went on sale earlier today and overwhelmed the servers at Ticketmaster.
Having 5 New Jersey and New York shows going on sale within an hour of each other, Ticketmaster was not up to the task nor prepared for the inundation of traffic as they were unable to grant the overwhelming number of requests from fans.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play April 3 & 4 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford (Meadowlands Arena), April 6 and 9 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and May 2 at Newark’s Prudential Center.
Springsteen routinely sells out most concerts and New Jersey and New York are especially among the first to sell out. As everyone knows, Springsteen is from New Jersey and his fanbase runs deep.
This tour marks the first shows since the passing of fan favorite, saxophonist Clarence Clemmons of the E Street Band. Fans are anxious to see “The Boss” and the remaining band members and today’s strong demonstration by the fans really shows just how badly everyone misses seeing Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band live in concert.
The server glitches were apparently resolved but that does not take away the frustration and disappointment experienced by the early bird fans who were ready and waiting in an attempt to get the jump on these high demand tickets.
For those who were not lucky enough to get through for tickets this morning there is still hope. There are alternate outlets for most events and die-hard fans can find Bruce Springsteen tickets on sale now for most dates in New York, New Jersey and around the country.
