UConn Having Trouble Mid Season
UConn’s men’s basketball team is no stranger to being a powerhouse of the Big East. However they lost 67-57 to Pittsburgh on Wednesday night at the XL Center, and it is evident that they might not be the powerhouse they once were.
The reason for this is definitely not for lack of ability. The Huskies have lost by only a total of 8 points in 3 games while heading into their game on Wednesday against Pitt, with the exception of their loss to Duke. However, at the XL Center on Wednesday the Huskies weren’t playing up to their full potential. They had poor shooting, rebounding, and half court offense. There was no outside shooting, and no inside game.
The UConn men’s basketball team is currently halfway through its season and even though they are trying to follow up its Final Four status, they are struggling in doing so. But the 11-5 Huskies still have 2 months to get their record up.
The UConn Huskies have a chance on Saturday night against Notre Dame to show the Big East what they are made of. Get your Big East Tournament Tickets now from Select A Ticket.
