New York Jets Have A Chance At Playoffs
The New York Jets have a possible opportunity at a playoff berth this season. In the past decade, the Jets (8-7_ have had 6 chances at a playoff berth going into the final game of the regular season. Whether it was by their own doing, or because of other results, the Jets were able to convert on 4 out of 6 of these occasions.
On Sunday night, when the Jets have their final game of the regular season and host Cincinnati, they will have an opportunity to make that 5 out of 7 times. If they Jets win this game they are in the playoffs, but if they lose they are out. Sunday night’s game will be the football finale at Giants Stadium.
If they Jets beat the Cincinnati Bengals, that would secure the number 6 seed in the AFC for the New York jets. The Bengals don not have much to worry about on Sunday. They are definitely in the playoffs, but only their seed, number 3 or 4, is up for grabs. Either way, they are in the playoffs. However, the Jets are not concerned about this. All they are concerned about is a chance to be in that Superbowl tournament!
