Spring Has Sprung… Kind of
The first sign of summer is officially here. With Major League pitchers and catcher reporting to duty for MLB spring training, the first micro-sign of baseball season is upon us and the road to Opening Day has begun as more and more, baseball will take the forefront in sports news. It’s great, ain’t it!?
No stove was hotter this off season than that of the New York Yankees who made a ton of moves this summer to bolster their lineup as well as their bottom line. The signings of CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett and Mark Texiera were the marquee moves of their winter, but they filled in a few more holes here and there as well – and lets not forget that Manny Ramirez is still without a home. I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin…
As the Yankees begin spring warm-ups in Florida, make no mistake that they are in it to win it in ’09. If you don’t believe me, buy some New York Yankees tickets and see for yourself!
